Dim wits defending Bush after they cut their health care


Salt Lake City--The American Legion opened its national convention in Salt Lake City with high hopes the gathering would help "unite America" behind the war in Iraq instead,the veterans have found them selfs in a fight with the city's anti-war mayor.

Mayor Rocky Anderson,a Democrat in a city that is heavily Republican Called Prsident Bush and his Administration liars about the war and Bush a "Complete Disaster.

"No more God-is -on our -side religious nonsence," Anderson said at the rally,absorbing waves of cheers and applause from thousands of protesters as he called Bush a "dishonest,war-mongering,humanrights violating president"

I walked away from them after their support of Bush/Cheney in 2004. As a vet I consider them to be
beneath contempt for their support of an administration and politicians that continue to screw over
active duty personnel as well as veterans.

I guess they truly believe that if they swallow, Bush and his Republican cronies will throw them some
crumbs.
