I particularly liked the comment: "actually gives cover for it by neutralizing criticism with the "they all do it" defense.

Make no mistake we must take out Jefferson with the trash and say he by no means is a good represetntation of the party or of the CBC which I respect immensely.

Arguements like "Well all polticans are dirty so what does it matter if Republicans are?"

and "Democrats aren't better then republicans becuase one of thier members once did something similar to the the actions of the 10 republicans we are discussing now..at some point in the past...probably"

I wish only the MSM did this sort of thing. But face it, stupidity has become endemic.
