I just tuned in a few minutes ago and whoever is filling in for Al Franken is obviously UNPREPARED and just filling in with LAME staged "phone calls" that have no point whatsoever except to allow the "host" to drop names of "famous people" who are "accidentally" calling in.

he is also a "political pundit" on our and I think appears often on these talking head cable shows - I think he is also a frequet guest of Al's although I don't like Al's show and really haven't followed it in MONTHS - but I have to tell you I did listen Tuesday and Wednesday when I got wind that Christy Harvey and Tom Oliphant were hosting and I think they did a GREAT JOB....

On edit - btw West Wing wasn't on HBO it was a regular NBC show for seven years....

I'm a big fan Al Franken's show, but two of his guests always annoy me. Lawrence O'Donnel, and that guy who's mother was a famous journalist and he's now some kind of political reporter. I can't recall his name right now.
