The American Legion supplied Bush with only a smattering of applause. At the end of the speech, jeers were clearly discernible before the band was fired up to drown them out.

This morning, the Radio from Hell show pointed out that Bush had new material, since 'It is better to fight the terrorists over there than here at home' is a drastic change from 'It is better to defeat the terrorists over there than here at home', noting that the latter had a more positive spin, LOL.
