To get the Vichy Democrats to go along: you'll have to convince them that very few Americans think Iraq has anything to do with national security, so they can stop worrying about appearing to be "weak" if they oppose continuing a failed project.

In all seriousness though...
Obviously the RepubliCON party no longer believes that the "even the president isn't above the law" (unless it's a RepubliCON one) so unfortunately there's not much hope of removing him if they stay in power. IMO the only real chance we have is to do everything we can to get a Dem majority in both houses this November and then hope like heck that they'll feel empowered enough to impeach and remove the whole BuSh* cabal. If they can't at least the Dems being in power will probably effectively neuter him.
