Bush Lies, the Press Asks No Qs, Attention Is Diverted, People Forget....
... that about sums up the fix we are in.

The Bush/NeoCons have depended on this formula to stay in power.

It is very sad the state of our democracy. We allowed it to happen when we failed to confront the corrupt and evil changes as they arose. Now it will require effort on our part to save that which was entrusted to us by those who bled and died for our right to live in a free democracy.

When Bush lies we need to question him and demand real answers. When the Press fails to ask questions that hold Bush accountable, we need to question the Press and protest outside their studios since they are acting as enablers.

When Bush fails to answer our questions, we need to demand that our representatives in Washington get the answers for us. If they refuse, we need to make it clear to them that they will pay a price at the polls for not doing their job representing us.

And when we fail to receive a timely and accurate response to our questions, and those in the Press and our elected representatives fail to carry out their functions, we need to engage in peaceful protests in huge numbers that cannot be ignored by the MSM.

Two(2) years is plenty of time for Bush to lie us into another war, keep us in Iraq, put our troops at risk, repeal numerous constitutional rights, spy on us, create voting environments that deny lawful voters access to the polls, do permanent damage to the environment, and further destroy government social programs while raiding the public treasury for the benefit of his rich friends and corporations.

There is not a minute to lose. If you want to see what fighting for your democracy looks like, take a look at Mexico today. They have had a succession of protests each of which drew over a million people. It can be done, do we have the will to do it? not only for us but for our children? ...or will we forget what they say and do, and forget to care .....

...this is our moment in history to stand up and be counted. Will we answer the call?
