1. They force you to watch propaganda at work? Bummer!
I hope you find a new job soon.

There are things you can do to TV sets, you know. Sodas are generally bad for them. Or buy one of those universal remotes and start channel surfing!

4. They had a whopper of a subtext for that WalMart piece
"Could your company be next?". Nobody except FOX could do such a superb job of reinventing the victim! If I was the average WalMart employee making $9/hr and still had to pay for a huge share of health care coverage, I would certainly consider putting the screws on WalMart to be welcome news. Costco pays nearly double the wages that WalMart does, and manages to cover 92% of premium costs. Wait til Fox gets hold of that one and spins it as "REALLY bad for workers".

9. Planet U.S.
According to the source below, $9.68 was the "average" full time salary for 2005, some higher, some lower. I don't have part-time employee figures, but they would almost certainly be even lower. Their CEO makes a trifle more per hour however:

www.wakeupwalmart.com/facts/Wal-mart-pay-gap.pdf

A recent article in the Idaho Statesman put Walmart's Idaho pay rate at just over $9/hr. The (Republican) State Senate majority (GOP) leader, a few other Republicans, and all State Senate Democrats (yes, there are a few in ID) favor legislation that would compel ID Walmarts to cover a larger share of employee health benefit costs, along the lines of Maryland's new law. The rationale is that Walmart's policies increase it's profit margin, but also increase the Medicaid burden on the state's taxpayers. Some Republicans are opposed or undecided. But the State Senate leadership will be pushing it hard.

Another factoid I discovered today:
After all employee costs and overhead are calculated, Walmart clears $6,000 per employee.

12. "average" full time salary
That explains it. The average FULL TIME slary...

One way Wally World holds down expenses is by working employees 39 hrs./ wk to avoid benefits packages. The FT folks are few and far between in the grand scheme of things.

11. Does Fox pay health insurance for their employees?
If they do, then these a$$holes at FOX are hypocrites. :silly: And why do they hate hard working Americans anyway? They collect their over paid/bloated salaries and laugh at the Morans who just continue to eat up their bullcrap! If they only knew! Mind boggling! :banghead:
