Anyone else generally hate the letter W now?
I live in DC, and won't buy a Nationals cap -- though I may buy the spring training hat with the "DC" logo.

I give people dirty looks who have Ws on their shirt, only to see that it is a high school or college.

Seriously, anyone else have the same experience?

are great, but I cringe every time I treat myself to a can of them.

It's that NAME.

3. Funny you ask...today I was walking on campus and saw a pickup
parked with a big W on the side and I gave the empty truck the evil eye. Then I saw that there was a lighter-colored "C" crossing the W, and that the W was actually part of a logo for "Walker Construction."

4. It's a part of the alphabet I am trying to avoid.
I'm going to come up with another symbol because thinking about it just makes everything #orse. In fact, life would be #onderful if I #eren't constantly reminded of the existence of George #. Bush every time I see that #retched letter. It gives me the #illies.

Give it a chance.

6. women, witches, wise, worthy, wondrous, wicked, wild, wet, wool, wheat,
woebegone, wreath, wind, wood, warble, wander, win. . .

as women have done with words that are meant to demean and belittle and humiliate them, I think it is high time we all took back this letter, using it proudly and freely. . . .

7. Not me!
I intend to welcome my "W" back with open heart, give it baths in alternating washes of brake cleaner and jojo and then, after it is thoroughly cleansed and dry, I shall restore it to its rightful position, as though it had never gone prodigal.

Hewever, if it starts considering writing a tell-all book or boasting of its exploits in Iraq, I will ban it and burn it and, from then on only use "Ls" or "Rs" or perhaps that rare combination from colonial times the elusive "oe."

8. I feel sadness and sympathy for the letter W. It does not
deserve it's unwanted association with such a low-life scumball.

9. It's the initial of my first name, so that'd be a NO.
And I've had it long before I'd ever heard of him.

I'll be damned if bush has a monopoly over 4% of the alphabet.

14. Well I do hate the letter as I have one with a slash through it
on my back windshield. My blood pressure rises when I see one of those W's on the back windshield of someone's car. I need help I think (anger management maybe).

15. NOW is the time to trash the White House offices.
Rather than just hide the 'W' keys from the keyboards, it's time to throw out every 'W' in the building.

18. I am a Wastoid
We used the W for our symbol - until 2001.
We'll bring it back once this dirt bag is gone from the public eye.
It's buried beneath the Giant W...

19. I don't actually hate the letter, but it may of interest to note that...
in UK education, "W" represents the lowest possible grade in school tests for 7-year-olds.
(No, I don't like all this testing; but it's still interesting to note this fact!)
