Help! I subscribed to Stephanie Miller's podcast but it only downloaded

the last hour.

I want it to automatically download a few days worth (I put 5 days) but I only have Hour 3. I can play the earlier ones but I need them to get on my friggin Ipod so I can listen at work tomorrow (a day late but much better than my alternatives).

I usually subscribe through I-tunes so I just click subscribe and it does the work.

2. I couldn't find her podcasts on Itunes

except for the 'bits'. How did you subscribe to her whole show?

I am also looking to podcast Guy Harrison's show. Does anyone know how to do that?

3. You have to pay for the whole Stephanie Miller show. It's a monthly fee.

4. I did pay. I paid so I could get her shows because now I can't listen

in the mornings to it live.

It isn't an I-tunes podcast so I can't get it through there but I paid and thought I followed the directions they give to have it go through my I-tunes account.

It does go through there now but it doesn't give me the entire show. It automatically updated it today but, once again, it only gave me one hour of the three hour show.

I've been trying to fix it since yesterday.

I would e-mail them but my Outlook doesn't work.

I'm sure it is something easy but I just don't know how to fix it.

edit to add - I can access all of the shows on my computer and play them but I just can't get it to load onto my I-tunes account.

the "bits" on iTunes.

I wish I could help. How are their tech people? The guys at Air America Place are great if there's problems with the AAR downloads.

Itunes (I wish it was because I wouldn't have this problem if it did go through Itunes).

7. I Subscribe to Stephanie's Podcasts

I just updated in iTunes. Looks like I got two Hour 2 and one Hour 1.

They were having problems with the podcasts a couple of days ago where the files were corrupt.

9. OK. So it may be them and not me. I got Hour 2 today and then

while fiddling around with it I clicked on convert and while it was doing that it showed that I had Hour 1 and Hour 2 but in my Podcast files it showed that I only had Hour 2.

Did you get all three hours yesterday? I only got hour 3.

I hope it is them and they can fix it because it has been very frustrating and I was soooo exited to get Steph's shows.

11. Do you do it through Itunes? I think I may have needed to do

something else - it mentions Ipodder or "configuring" my Itunes so I can get it. :shrug:

"Simply download and install a "podcatcher" program like ipodder, or configure your Apple iPod to subscribe to the following "feed". "

I went in and subscribed under "Advanced" and copied the URL they told me to copy into there but ....

I'm going to try to do the Ipodder thing. The link wasn't working when I first went to it. I'll try that.

I use iTunes. I did not do any configuring that I can remember - just copied the link to "Subscribe to Podcast" as you did.

Have you checked your iTunes preferences (under Edit)?

13. I downloaded "Juice" - a podcast receiver - and now I can get it

on my Ipod (that is what the ipodder link took me to). I'll be able to get more non-Itunes podcasts - if I want them.
