Its Like Hugging An Evil Mountain

I just can't get my arms around it.

Its like trying to hug an evil mountain. "It" is the Bush Administration of course, but its so much more. Its the "Unitary Executive", its the packing of the courts, its the dismantling of well ordered mature regulatory systems. It is the economic rape of the working man by a privileged minority. It is a tax system gone horribly awry, it is the abandonment of black America. Its secrecy and fear, its price gouging and golfing in Scotland. Its the war. Its the loss of national pride and international respect. It is rioting in the voting place, it is billions of mission dollars. It is the systematic trivialization and demonetization of intellect, it is the loss of jobs. It is an undefended border, it is a national debt so large I do not know how many zeros it contains.

I simply can not get my arms around it.
