A Joementum prediction: in two years...
...win or lose, Joe will be a full-fledged right-winger. All this stuff we've been hearing from his defenders about his "progressive" record will go down the memory hole. No, Joe will walk the full walk--anti-labor, pro-"life", anti-environment, all of it...and of course, he'll be a Repub. Win or lose, though the process will happen quicker if he loses. The question that matters is, is he "sincere", or do the Repubs have something on him? And are using blackmail? I'm not sure even he knows anymore. For what it's worth, I know someone who knows some high DC Dems--and he tells me that it's taken for granted in many Dem circles that Joementum *has* been gotten to by the Repubs, that they've had something on him--maybe as far back as the Clinton Impeachment...but mark my words. Joe will become a total convert to right-wingism--sooner, rather than later...

1. But only because we (his party) "abandoned" him...
...like we abandoned Zell Miller.

3. You know what, I really don't give a darn
He is nowhere near the man he thinks he is..no matter what party he says he belongs to.

5. He's been a right-winger since he ran with Gore
I know making predictions about the past is silly, but I reckon if Gore had won the 2000 election he would have been dead by August and 9/11 would have taken place right on cue and we'd be in the same mess with just a slightly more coherent frontman.
