This is just SOP for radio stations, he is now persona non grata on their stations, the remaining hosts will not talk about him or his termination, nor will there be any talk of where his show will/is being aired. The term of radio contracts are meaningless as there are always several clauses that give the station the right to dump anyone at any time for any reason.

That's just the way this business is. BTW, it's the same or worse in any of the media.

7. It was like that when my dentist left.

I had finally found a dentist I really liked, and then one day at the end of my appt she said that this was her last day. She couldn't tell me why or where she was going and neither could anyone else in the office. It REALLY made me hysterical. I asked her if I could find her in the phone book, and she said yes, I'll be in a phone book. About a year later I saw a sign up in another part of town that had her name on it, but I was already over her. I moved on.
