He's used that phrase about a milion times in the last five years, the lessons of nine eleven, let us never forget the lessons of nine eleven, the democrats have forgotten the lessons of sept the eleventh bla bla bla.

Have you learned your lesson? What is the lesson, I missed it, I was out sick.

4. I won't forget. Lesson 1: Don't put Repubs in charge of government
Lesson 2: Don't give the presidency to a drunk frat boy and Lesson 3: Don't let Neo-cons be in positions of power.

5. Never trust a GOP government.
That's a pretty good lesson, as far as I'm concerned.

6. Ignoring their intent in that phrase, here are the lesson of 9/11
- an unelected pResident with falling poll numbers can see those numbers go up if the country gets attacked (even if he fails to show any leadership during the attack and didn't read the warning briefings
- doesn't matter who attacked us, we get to strike back at the target of our choice (eg. Iraq)
- a broadly defined 'War on Terror' is both a blank check to expand the government and loot the treasury AND a club to beat up anyone who dares ask why the Constitution should be gutted

7. The lessons of 9-11...
One of those lessons must be to be ready to capitalize on any tragedy that befalls this country.
Another lesson might be that crookedness and lying beats empathy and forgiveness anytime.
