Bush: "My series of speeches aren't political speeches''

http://newsblogs.chicagotribune.com/news_theswamp/2006/08/the_drumbeat_of.html#more

<snip>

The president was asked about his speeches en route to a fundraiser in Nashville this evening.

"My series of speeches aren't political speeches,'' Bush said. "They are speeches about the future of this country... They are speeches that make it clear that if we retreat before the job is done, this nation will become even more in jeopardy.''

Everything you do is political, or to further The Bush Crime Family™ agenda. You don't care about the future of this country, just yourself, your family, and your cronies.

We're on to you, George. We know better.

16. "if we retreat before the job is done"
WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE WHEN THE JOB IS DONE??? Aarrgghhh!

Pardon me for yelling, but I hear over and over that we must "finish the job", that we can't leave Iraq "until the job is done", and ad nauseum.

I want someone to please ask that lying bastard what he means by that. Does he mean when everyone who looks like a "terrist" (maybe all the men in Iraq who dare to try to fight off the occupiers???) is dead? Or does he mean something else? Why do people let him get away with saying that?

Damn, it's bad enough that our military is occupying and destroying another country for no good reason, but they use such lame and stupid excuses to justify doing it. :wtf:

21. In other words, we can expect more fear mongering.
Gotta whip up more terror hysteria for the elections. Our peaceful, freedom-loving nation is in jeopardy! The terrorists are a threat to our freedoms and our way of life!! They want to turn the whole world into an Islamic dictatorship!! If we stop killin' em over there, they'll come over and kill us all here for sure!!

23. Not speeches
There more like the notes your write that you make a speech out of. When the President talks he never gets beyond just listing strings of talking points. He's like a walking posted note.

25. Interesting quotes from the article
"These are important times, and I seriously hope people wouldn't’t politicize these issues that I’m going to talk about. We have a duty in this country to defeat terrorists. That’s why we’ll stay on the offense and bring them to justice before they hurt us, and that’s why we’ll work to spread liberty in order to spread the peace.'' Mad king Boy George

"The president is constantly talking about the issues we face in the war on terror,'' spokeswoman Dana Perino noted aboard Air Force One today en route to some political fundraisers that Bush was headlining in Little Rock and here in Nashville today. "It is important for people to hear from their commander-in-chief, especially in a time of war.''

"Our nation is heading into the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks, and it is important the president be talking to the American public about this war that we didn't start, but one that he is committed to winning. That means being on the offense against the terrorists.

"There will be a sharp focus on the future,'' she promised. "It's a bookend of speeches between now and September 19th'' at the U.N.'s General Assembly. "There's opportunities to remind people about the threat that we face and how we're going to overcome it.'' :puke:

Questions:
What kind of Justice are we bringing to them? I haven't seen or heard about any trials.

This the Justice the kind from cruise missiles, or other kind of armaments?

How can you spread liberty from violence? His spreading of liberty and peace makes me want a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich.

What war is Dana talking about? The attacks on 9-11 was not considered a war but an Attack on America. It's hard to fight a war when there isn't an army to define who the enemy is, or am I wrong about that?

What are the OPPORTUNITIES you speak about?

Is this coded language for the War Profiteers?
