13. He also said that
during his interview with Brian Williams.

That's what they told him to say, then.

Yes, that's what he meant. In Williams' interview it sounded like
ecelectic and also could be easily confused for epilectic. He is definitely the gift of stupidity and ignorance that keeps giving. I guess Camus has not helped much and neither has Shakespeare...

7. Probably a good description -
he reads in fits and starts, and then forgets 90% of it.

11. Yep - time to bury him
under a pile of dead leaves and change his name to Russell. :)

That is an otherwise distasteful joke so I won't elaborate.

9. that's just too funny... poor georgie, he missed his calling
he should have been a comedian. I just keep haveing these visuals of what an epilectic's readling list might include. You've gotta be here in my head I guess.

10. They're playing you.
If we're distracted by that highly-useful RW meme, "Bush** is an idiot," then we won't be able to focus as much on the important stuff, like the first anniversary of Katrina - the very proof that the RW philosophy is flawed, inhumane, and evil.

NGU.

14. My husband's theory is that he does it on purpose...
in order to come across as more "folksy."

I don't get it, though -- why the brainy reading list in the first place?

16. "Folksy" works for the guy down at the corner deli or the bartender...
I have no idea why people would want a folksy president and never understood the knocks against Gore as being too smart.

Seems to me the POTUS is a position you want somebody smart and well rounded.

Not a screaming knucklehead.

What a maroon.

Don't forget: the short-lived series That's My Bush is being reissued on DVD this Fall....

17. I'm surprised.
Considering the South Park guy's new admiration for the chimp, I expected they would've destroyed the original tapings by now.
