911 Question Only Bush Can Answer .....
....when Bush explained in detail before press cameras how he watched the first plane hit the WTC at a time when the first plane crash had not yet been broadcast on television, did anybody in the Press confront Bush with this impossibility and demand an explanation??

I cannot find any reference to any one on one question with Bush from a member of the press demanding that he explain such an obvious lie. And if he was asked, did any member of the press continue to follow up on this question and demand an answer?

Did Bush ever say he made a mistake in giving a provably false response to the question?

IF he were a witness in court, the judge would most likely strike from the record anything he had testified to under oath since proof that he lied destroyed his credibility, and nothing else he could testify to would be trustworthy.

It would seem the answer to this question opens the door to examining many other "lies" about 911 that have been put forth as part of the "official story" regarding 911.

2. Right, but did he ever admit he was wrong or made a mistake saying it?
How can a country and its press, which was so possessed over Bill Clinton lying about an extra-marital affair that the House impeached him, let Bush get a free pass on the lie that is easily refutable by public evidence?

No further proof of MSM complicity in evil deeds of BushCo White House needed.

5. No
Instead he repeated the story a 2nd time in public. Just to make sure we all heard him right I suppose?

6. Yes, but his following comments don't support that.
If he was describing the second plane and did not clearly state such (misspoke) - why did he go on to talk about flying and "that was a terrible pilot" which clearly indicates he thought it was a freak accident. We all know that once the second plane struck, it was no accident.

7. You Summed It Up, So WHY Is He Getting A Pass From The Press?
Clearly this is one of those situations that cannot be logically explained away.

Did anybody in the Press demand an answer?? I cannot find any evidence that they did not just pretend it never happened, and have not revisited it.

8. Does not work-- post above explains why it couldn't be 2nd Plane He was...

... describing. His explanation was a first person narrative of his thoughts at the time the event took place, and his comment about "one bad pilot" does not square with what everyone knew when the second plane hit the WTC, not a bad pilot but rather we are under attack.

I realize this event happened a long time ago, but there is no way Bush's comments can be squared with events or his explanation given the story he has been relying upon.

4. He did not make a mistake. He can't make mistakes
He must have seen the crash from the camera in the cockpit, via a special feed right to his limo.

9. File This Under "He Lies And We Don't Care Anymore" Right???
I am sad to see that the anniversary of 911 is approaching, and so many pertinent questions remain unanswered about what really happened, and it appears that not only the Press, but most people, have been conditioned to accept anything Bush tells them as either a lie or the result of ignorance.

We cannot hold Bush and our Government accountable if we do not ask the hard questions, and perservere until we get real answers to those questions.

I ask again for the help of fellow DUers here -- Does anyone know of a member of the Press who followed up on this issue with Bush? Did Bush ever explain how he thought it was "one bad pilot" if this was the second plane hitting the WTC he saw on television?
