Link to article I wrote on the terminally ill woman cycling across America
Edited on Tue Aug-29-06 08:57 PM by peacebird
after reading on DU this morning about Jane Tomlinson's ride across America and the total lack of American media coverage I did a bit of research and wrote an article about her for DailyPeloton.com.

The tagline reads: "Against all odds, this amazing English woman has conquered the continent. A true tale of courage, inspiration, and of one womans quest to prove that anything is possible - even for those dying of cancer."

4. the lasting legacy she leaves her three children is her courage
and the enthusiasm she has for life, giving her example to try to give HOPE to others with a terminal prognosis. Saying - regardless of the cards you are dealt, you can either just survive or really LIVE life to the fullest capability you have.

This woman has left an amazing legacy - her children will know she never gave up. Ever. Even when it would have been the easy way. I am so amazed, so stunned by this womans accomplishents. She just ROCKS.

Please - search for Jane on the web - the articles in Great Britain show how she is a truly fabulous person, would that all our sports hero types were as REAL.

Great article - it really bums me out that her terrific endeavor has been so ignored over here. I'm going to her site to donate.
