What a self involved dissembling PIG! He blames every one but HIMSELF for the tragedy and lack of FEMA response ... He makes excuses of being tired to explain away his saying in THREE SEPARATE interviews at the time that he learned of the Superdome situation on TV. He blames the state and the city for not being specific enough in what they are asking for. Apparently it's not good enough to say we are overwhelmed and do not have the resources to deal with this situation and we need ALL RESOURCES at your command to avert further DEATH of US CITIZENS. He apparently was waiting for an itemized list down to the last water bottle and the distribution of ranks of NG and Coast Guard personnel. WHAT A DICK!

The Republicans and the Bush crime family will be the death of this nation. I think they all need to be Marie Antoinette-ed! OFF with there heads!

"a valet to the oil industry". I'm watching "When the Levees Broke" on HBO. Brown had no qualifications for being the head of FEMA. This was strictly a partisan appointment of a marginally qualified GOP tool.

6. I fully realize that... BUT....

It seems to me that even an unqualified individual with even a smidgen of character would just say, "you know I wish to God I had been capable of pulling together a better response, but the truth is I was wholly unqualified and I apologize to the American people for contributing to the preventable loss of life that occurred in the wake of Katrina. I will dedicate myself to advocating for an end to patronage in appointing personnel to agencies that hold the balance of life and death within their red tape."

He's a typical privilege right wing a-hole who does not understand or care about the consequences of his benefiting from his position of privilege in putting him in a place and level of responsibility for which he is NOT qualified. People like him will sink this country.
