4. Rudy was not popular in NYC before 9/11

I'm not listening tonight but I do remember well before 9/11 as to Mr. Guiliani's reputation in NYC.
He was very unpopular with most NY'ers.
He spent most of mayoral term figuratively rapping NY'ers across the knuckles for "quality of life" violations like jaywalking (a NY birthright).
The unions hated him also, which is natural for a Repuke.
He puffs his chest out and walks down a street and all of a sudden he's "America's Mayor".
Please....

6. For people unfamiliar with walking around Manhattan:

Often people NEED TO cross the street when the sign says "Don't Walk," because the entire time the sign says "Walk" there are cars making turns preventing them from walking.

Under Rudy Gulianni's program to arrest jaywalkers, ordinary people just trying to get around Manhattan had to be afraid of being put under arrest.
