Can any objective person think of one positive thing Bush has accomplished
as president?

I mean everything he touches turns to shit!

1) biggest surplus in history becomes biggest deficit
2) 9/11 on HIS watch
3) A major US city is destroyed while he strums some guitar and rests at his pig farm.
4) US gets involved in another Vietnam by going into Iraq
5) The US becomes the most hated country in the world

Everything this guy touches turns to dust and yet he keeps between 33-40 percent of the American people behind him. Something is seriously wrong.

He designated a large piece of the ocean next to Hawaii as a nature sanctuary. This was probably the only good thing he did during his presidency.

8. He will have reduced the gop to permanent minority status
by January 2009. What could be more positive then that? I am objective when it comes to that monster. My hate is rational and I believe my prediction will come true. (Permanent equals for at least 50 years.)

17. Bush has inspired
a lot of people to become activists, me included. I used to considered myself independent during Clinton's presidency, and Clinton was the first dem. that I voted for. Now I'm a flaming die-hard democrat.

20. By destabilizing the Middle East and raising crude oil prices...
... his otherwise disastrous and ill concieved agendas have made development and installation of renewable systems fashionable, or even profitable.

Of course, this is far from his intention. He's been trying to drop prices by promoting drilling, while at the same time cheerleading all manner of energy consumption. It's just that in those areas, like everything else he has ever tried in his sorry life, he has been an utter failure.

25. The Do Not Call List
But the only "accomplishment" there was getting out his pen and signing the bill. Congress took the lead and initiated the bill themselves.
