Sister Angele Sadlier kept from entering Kartina commemorative mass

Sister Angele Sadlier, a Carmelite nun from New Orleans, is kept from entering Jackson Square to attend a Hurricane Kartina commemorative mass at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006. The attendance of President Bush and other dignitaries was the reason for the security. Katina swept though the city one year ago today. (AP Photo/David Quinn)

1. No place is public anymore when Bush shows up.
Only people who signed loyalty oaths are allowed anyplace near the King.

2. ya gotta watch those nuns...
dangerous I tell you.

The only thing that would have made more sense is if the guy in the picture (the paramilitary looking dude) had had a TSA patch on his shoulder...

9. Why? On what grounds was she kept from entering the Square? Was the
mass not public? Was it only for Bush & chosen supporters? If so, why aren't Catholics screaming bloody murder?

10. That cross on her lapel looks kind of pointy
You could put somebody's eye out with that!

Tell me again how the Republicans are soooo good on security issues? They're so scared, they wet themselves when a nun shows up at a church.
