1. We need incriminating evidence like White Tapes to nail Dubya
...similar to when Nixon got busted for his cover-up participation on Watergate in private staff meetings. Come-on, America needs a new John Dean to come forward! Or, get Shrubs medical records made public.

2. Were you one of the 10% who didn't approve of Bush straight after 9/11?

3. I was indeed
I remember thinking how much 9/11 would boost Bush's approval numbers because of the way that Americans tend to rallt around their leaders in times of war

6. the October surprise?
a "secret" plan to end the war. That's why Nixon won re-election. He promised to end the war and said he had a plan.

Watch for Bush to announce the same thing soon.

7. The scary thing is that these guys can continue to govern with
such a small base of support. Kinda calls into question the theories about popular government and the requirement for the consent of the governed.

The U.S. is clearly in a post-democratic phase. I don't see how this can continue much longer without the realization of some sort of dramatic crisis.

8. All Bush needs is another 9/11
and he'll be about equal to Clinton after 6 years. Bring it on Dick!

11. I never realized how low Raygun's approval ratings got.
You would think the way repugs brag about Raygun, he would have had higher approval. Just more spin from the wacko political party

12. If you could have bought a put option or sold short on him...
from point 0.5 to point 2.0 you could have cleaned up. If that was a stocks trend i would say they were in the dumpster.

But since it is the pResident i would say he's in the dumpster.
