Micheal Chertoff and Patrick Fitzgerald..how close a relationship
did they have? This story seems to imply they once worked hand in hand regarding the 93' WTC bombing. Can I get some opinions?

Michael Chertoff was the US Attorney appointed by HW Bush and retained by Bill Clinton for New Jersey from 1990-1994. As US Attorney for New Jersey Chertoff was deeply involved with the 1993 WTC bombing sting operation using FBI monitoring of the Abdel Rahman and Salem’s recruited cell members at the Al Salaam mosque in Jersey City. The US Attorney from New York who worked with Chertoff to prosecute the 1993 WTC bombing case was Patrick Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is also conducting the federal grand jury investigating the illegal outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame, the wife of Ambassador Wilson who investigated claims of uranium acquisition by Iraq. Chertoff and Fitzgerald were fully aware of the statements made by prosecutors admitting that the FBI intentionally had provided the safe house for Salem terrorist recruits.
http://www.apfn.net/Messageboard/04-10-05/discussion.cgi.66.html

and this: Ali Mohammed trained seven Middle Eastern men in bomb making skills for the 1993 WTC attacks with the knowledge and approval of the FBI, DOJ and US Attorneys including Michael Chertoff and Patrick Fitzgerald. Bomb maker Emad Salem had recruited the seven men. Salem was paid to do this by the FBI according to 1993 WTC trial documents. The seven men trained by Ali Mohammed were associated with a Brooklyn mosque infiltrated by the FBI and included Anis and Asad Siddiqy, Mohammed Chafti, and Mr.Yassin. The bomb making materials used by the Ali Mohammed trained men were purchased with FBI provocateur Melvin Lattimore’s credit card. From: http://www.newswithviews.com/Briley/Patrick18.htm

There are other sites listed on Google Chertoff Fitzpatrick.. Is this dis/mis-information? unreliable tin foil sites? If Chertoff and Fitzgerald were somehow involved in their capacity during the 93' bombing what does this say about the Plame leak investigation?

Any answers?

1. nothing at all
fitzgerald knows what happened but to prove it against the vice president or the president takes an extra ordinary amount of evidence and incorruptible witnesses. i don`t think fitzgerald have either of these two. but the investigation isn`t over yet.

2. thanks mad.. what's your opinion about the 93' WTC bombing
and the fact that both chertoff and fitzgerald were u.s attorneys. Did the FBI have a hand in creating the real bomb that was placed in the basement? If there is truth to that claim then the OK.City bombing comes into question (Alex Jones) and if both are connected then 911 comes into play.

LIHOP/MIHOP ??

Thanks again mad...

3. Possibly nothing will come out of it
The probability is that he's been allowed to continue his investigation because he will find nothing of import, nothing they're not willing to give up.

4. Oh, dear God
Surely Patrick Fitzgerald is responsible for global warming, New Coke and pantyhose that run the first time one puts them on, too.

>Ali Mohammed trained seven Middle Eastern men in bomb making skills for the 1993 WTC attacks with the knowledge and approval of the FBI, DOJ and US Attorneys including Michael Chertoff and Patrick Fitzgerald.<

We all know that all sources one finds on the Internet are of unimpeachable integrity. :sarcasm: Tell me: What's his motivation for the coverup?

>It was all Clinton's fault!<

Between the Clenis and Patrick Fitzgerald's alleged approval of every terrorist attack happening on our shores (and a few that didn't,) it's a miracle we've all survived this long! :sarcasm:

11. I think the OP
is on to something, if not on something.

Unpublished reports indicate that Fitzgerald and Brownie were in Ford's Theater together in April 1865. Then Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon! Coincidence? I think not.

Fitzgerald favorite program as a youth was "Room 222." He had a crush on Karen Valentine. Lee Hardly Oddball stayed in Room 222 of the New Orleans Hitler Satin Motel. Or the Statler Hilton Hotel. Either way: Coincidence? I think not.

Before 2006, Fitzgerald refused to take a stance on the movement to legalize Lonnie Anderson's hair. Now he claims the Grand Piano keeps him from playing that tune. You continue to avoid that topic. Coincidence? I think not.

7. I don't know Julie.. but prior to 93' Fitzgerald was not a household name
did Fitz and duel citizen chertoff work together to bury the FBI connections to the 93' WTC bombing?

Hey I love this Fitz myself for taking on the Whitehouse leaker's but somewhere in his past he had close ties (suspected by me) to chertoff FBI and Poppy Bush.

Is there truth to the story that the FBI created a real bomb instead of a fake bomb supposedly to be used for a sting operation.

One more thing, the 93' bombing to me was a gift to the new President Bill Clinton from a sore loser with many secret friends in powerful places --- Poppy Bush.

Don't flame please.

>did Fitz and duel citizen chertoff work together to bury the FBI connections to the 93' WTC bombing?<

Here's the first problem with your "evidence": Prior to 1993 Patrick Fitzgerald was an assistant US attorney. He had no POWER to orchestrate or time to participate in a coverup. He would have been on the job less than five years at that point, since he came to the US Attorney's office after working for a smaller firm in New York for three years after graduating from law school in order to pay off his student loans. Who exactly do you think would have bought into this, not to mention the fact he wasn't under Chertoff's supervision, he would have been under Giuliani's, if I remember correctly.

I'd also like an explanation as to why you believe he was "buddies" with Poppy Bush. Poppy Bush wouldn't let Patrick Fitzgerald pick up his dry cleaning, for the simple reason that he's Not One Of Them. He went to the right schools and has an amazing resume, but he's still the son of a doorman and worked his way through those schools. He has nothing socially or politically the Bushes would be interested in, and being in a room with him must be like a vampire facing someone with nothing but a necklace of garlic, a wooden stake, and the truth.

9. Julie, I know you're the prez for life :)
of the PJF fan club (and I'm jealous :) )

In the September 11 forum, there are a few people who post repeatedly that Patrick Fitzgerald was in on at least the "cover up" by the U.S. admin and their complicity in the terrorist attacks.

Seriously, some people wouldn't find the line between reality and fantasy if they tripped over it.

I've seen it, too. It's amazing he had time to work what's probably an 80 hour week (and try some pretty intense and high-profile cases,) when he's so busy destroying the fabric of our society at the same time ;-). :sarcasm:

13. He's so much cuter than No. 2
>Why, I'll bet that in his spare time, he's working on the master plan total world domination for the shrub next.<

They're going to launch a takeover of the superpower that truly runs the world...you know it...the evillll corporate monolith known as STARBUCKS COFFEE!!!!!11!!!! I'm SERIES! That's right. By cornering the caffeine market, they'll bring the world to its knees. Nothing will get done without those triple-shot mochas, and he has The Plan. That's why we've seen so many photographs of him with a Starbucks cup in his hand. He's signaling his intentions!

I also overheard him muttering something about the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series no matter what he has to do to make it happen. He's a busy, busy man.

14. He only drinks Starbucks because
there are no Tim Hortons outlets in Chicago or Washington.

Now, if he was REALLY evil, he'd go after Tim Hortons and shut down Canada. :P

Oh wait ~ maybe that's next after Starbucks and the Chicago Cubs! He's always thinking six steps ahead, after all. Oh nooooooooooooo!
