9. THAT'S a dangerous person...one who never questions whether his...

...his assumptions are turning out to be wrong. A person in his position should not be taking anything for granted and should be routinely reflecting on whether his beliefs can stand up to scrutiny. Instead of doing even the slightest bit of that, he's devoted to completely tuning out such "criticism" of assumptions. People like this never realize what is happening until it is way too late (if then) and take everyone else down with them.
