Maher is looking for an elitist on Larry King, who might best represent
the American people? What say you, and why?

1. i saw some of that earlier
he should just get on his knees and apologize to the nation for campaigning against gore in 2000.

btw, maher makes me mad when he makes me laugh. usually i want to kick his butt around the block. but sometimes he's just so funny.

2. I didn't understand that...
Maher assumes elitists are smarter than the dumb population, but hey, isn't Gorge an elitist upper cruster... you know, the guy that's dumber than 14 bags of hammers?

5. No an "elitist" is anybody who can speak or write in coherent
complete sentences, doesn't walk around saying "git-r-done", reads more of the paper than the comics and sports, and eats with their mouth closed. * is a "regular guy" just like all the dumbasses, y'know?

4. Maher himself is an elitist
Sometimes it seems like he can't figure out whether to be a stand-up comedian or a pundit. Either choice has its ... drawbacks.

6. I think he's generally pretty good as a pundit...

...until you ask him for honest commentary on Israeli aggression, then he switches (understandably) to job preservation mode and says something insightful like: Israel's just defending herself.

7. Even though I don't agree with everything he says, I like him.

Unfortunately, I think he has genuinely bought into the official 911 story. How can someone with obvious intelligence be so stupid?

P.S. I loved his work - he played a less than honorable literary agen - on Murder She Wrote!
