Selective Incompetence
This past week across the nation the incompetence of Bush's Republican Administration (always refer to it that way) has been high-lighted in regard to their failure during and in the aftermath of Katrina.

In the background, for now, the incompetence of Bush's Republican Administration in the war in Iraq lays waiting. As a handful of our fighting best die each day in a failed escapade created and directed by leftovers from the Reagan Administration the nation goes farther and farther into debt funding the madness.

Yesterday NPR reported a box cutter was found laying on an empty seat on a passenger jet after it landed. Homeland security? Incompetent Republican Administration.

To call Bush's Republican Administration's utterly incompetent "attempt at bringing peace" in the Israel/Lebanon slaughter a failure is to define the word failure.

One would think that they fail at everything. But do they?

Thus far Bush's Republican Administration, abetted by a complicit Republican Congress and a silent Court, has succeeded in every assault it has made on our Constitutional rights.

The Bush's Republican Administration funds the church.

People are being snatched off the streets by Bush's Republican Administration and taken to secret prisons without access to the Court or representation.

Wiretaps of untold numbers of Americans continue unabated by Bush's Republican Administration without warrant, evidence, or any verifiable evidence of wrongdoing.

It is foolish to think of Bush's Republican Administration as incompetent. They have shown quite clearly that in matters of personal power they can accomplish what they choose without regard to the rule of law.

It is far better to think of Bush's Republican Administration as the threat to Democracy that it is. We do less at our own peril.
