6. You, me and everyone we all know
What a waste of time and money. This guy may be guilty of a lot of other things, but not murder. Too bad they can't hold him on any pedophile charges.

7. Can't they try him on false confession?
And they need to bill him for that first class flight.

3. Re: earlier post about Dept of Home security involvement....
Maybe it's just another bushco ploy to distract the public. Where are the really serious journalists? (except those online)

8.  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
And I suggest we start with Nancy Grace. I was watching CNN at my gym yesterday, and almost lost it watching her practically organizing a lynch mob. What is with CNN?!

12. Apologize? Good one.
I'd love to see it, although I doubt it's going to happen.

9. All while our soldiers are STILL dying in a war based on lies
Edited on Mon Aug-28-06 06:47 PM by Nimrod2005
Our deficits are overwhelming, more people are falling into poverty, and Katrina's victims are still homeless...!

MSM is the enemy of the state, stopped being a watchdog longtime ago.

13. Not only the MSM, but those on DU who were ready to lynch him
and were tearing apart DUers who still believe in "innocent until proven guilty".

14. Yep. That's the embarrassing thing. A lot of Du-ers got sucked in.
When will people learn to wait for the evidence?

It'll all happen again as it is a lesson that has to be learned over and over and over again.

15. One good offshoot of it
It tends to debunk the right wing mentality that a confession is the be all and end all in evidence and undermine somewhat the concept that getting a confession by torture is a means of finding out the truth (not that Karr was tortured, but just the concept that someone would confess without being tortured sort of undermines the concept that one obtained that way would be true).

The MSM simply acted like the case had been solved because there had been a confession.
