Thank GOD that 1/8 oz. tube of Clinique undereye cover cream didn't make it onto Continental flight 447 from Chicago to Houston this morning!

I have NEVER seen so many pissed off people in one place as O'Hare airport this a.m.

Did you know that 3 year olds must remover their sandals for x-ray?

6. My husband had a whole slew of toiletries confiscated last week,

(he decided to not check his bag at the last minute) but they missed a 16 oz. can of Monster Energy Drink he forgot he packed, and he took it on the plane without a problem. Airport "security" is nothing more than a crap shoot.

Y'all should have seen the other passengers faces when, during the course of conversation, I informed someone who'd asked "What do they DO with all this stuff?" that it's been showing up on Ebay and that the super-dangerous explosive drinks are being given to the homeless.

One more complaint: since when does an overly made-up & bejeweled coach passenger traveling with her tiny DOG get pre-boarding privileges?

9. My husband flew this morning (out of ORD) again and had more

stories...

As he was walking down the walkway to board the plane, the pilot comes excusing his way around the passengers carrying his Starbucks! Why do pilots hate America?

The flight was bumpy, so the flight attendants didn't serve anything to drink on the plane.

that apple you threw into your backpack days ago as a "healthy snack". A friend of mine's elderly friend tossed an apple into her backpack. Forgot about it. Then, when leaving England, customs found the little, shrunken wizened apple at the bottom of her pack. And she was treated like a first-class terrorist. Threatened with thousands of dollars in fines...and heavy jail time. She was breaking all the agricultural bans.
The good news? Good sense prevailed and she was allowed to leave England with a small fine.
But she did miss her original flight.
