match Ramsey sample.

Here's the link to story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14553130/

KUSA also reported that the Boulder County District Attorney's office will drop the charges against Karr.

49. It doesn't matter what I'm for or against.
I lived in the area at the time. I've passed that house many times. When this horrible murder happened, the Boulder police bungled a lot, but it looked as if nobody had entered the house. There were no signs of forced entry. And I can't exactly fault Boulder law enforcement--there hadn't been many murders in Boulder.

53. I don't know that it's false, but it seems unlikely.
And of course they're permitted to believe whatever they want to believe. So no, I haven't blasphemed them. I just find their intruder theory unlikely based on the facts of the case.

60. T^hat was me -- Smit DOES have an obsession with the intruder theory
He believes the Ramseys couldn't have done it because they were such good Christians. Ergo, it must have been an intruder. He HAS been obsessed with this. And, he had his fingers deep, deep in this matter with Karr...

72. No reason to put words into my mouth
If you think Patsy murdered JB because she put her in pageants, or think John was taking a snuff film of her -- that's nuts. If you think the KNOWN EVIDENCE points to the Ramseys, that's your theory. If you think the Ramseys couldn't have done it because they're good Christians, or because no parent could do that to their child -- that's a bit nutso. If you feel the KNOWN EVIDENCE points to an intruder, that's your theory.

I personally feel the evidence points overwhelmingly to an inside killing -- not a murder.

Smit and Tracey have hardcore agendas -- and Smit's is backed by alot of insider knowledge, some far-fetched theories, and more than a bit of Righteous Zealotry. My theory -- or yours -- doesn't result in someone being entrapped via email and dragged from another country at an enormous cost to taxpayers. Theirs did. This was a small group of private individuals -- NOT law enforcement -- showboating. Ugh.

68. The CU prof. exchanged emails with Karr for a long time.
I'm not blaming him for it; he teaches journalism, after all, and he was in Boulder. It was to his advantage to do so. But a lot of people took advantage of that awful situation and apparently continue to do so.

69. Of course. But, sadly it happens all too often.
Whether Patsy or John had anything to do with it, I don't know. That's why I didn't post. But for either side to be so vehemently for/against their position that they get into big flame wars about it - well, that's just silly.

77. Not me....I suspected from the start that Karr was a nutcase confessor
I still suspect the real culprit was closer to home (one of the family most likely).

Too many things about the Karr story just didn't mesh with the original story.

I had a strong feeling that the people demanding an apology to the Ramsey's would be eating crow.

67. Wow. Go figure.
Now, can we please have another two months worth of non-stop media coverage on this goon?
