The Babbling Idiot Is On C-Span. Notice Something New?
I've noticed something about the resident idiot's speaking lately. The whole thing is just one constant string of introductions. He says nothing, trys to say nothing, all he does is stand up there and name people in the audience. In between he mutters the same three or four buzz lines for the day, but then right back to introductions.

I know it seems impossible, since we've been hearing this eight-year-old, sounding-it-out speech for years now...But someday, we'll have a president who can actually talk.

25. Just said it again. I count four times... did I miss a few?
And, am I overly sensitive, or is he basically saying that Missouri residents are harder-working and more entrepreneurial than New Orleans-area residents?

It seems like a backhanded compliment to me.

19. "Optimism is the only option."
Apparently, he's correct about that. Because heeding warnings, improving levies, and giving FEMA the indpendent, cabinet-level agency status it deserves are not options for this administration.
