Was just watching "Inside 9/11" on NGC and ...
no matter how many times I see the official story told, it is still profoundly compelling. I can't imagine what they've got planned for us next.

1. Me too, amazing story
From their version of events, every level of government failed us again, from Clinton to bush, fbi, cia, and military intel. We could have had osama many times, and failed to do so. Did you hear the part about blowing planes up over the Atlantic, 12 flights blown up with sophisticated detonators? This plot was hatched before the 9/11 plot was hatched. I wonder if it was the plot that was supposedly stopped recently? I also found it interesting the military intel was tracking the hijackers, but couldn't say anything to the fbi, because the hijackers had legit visas, what does that have to do with it. I doubt it has, but I hope these channels of intel are now open, and agencies can pass their intel between each other.

3. Agencies did pass their intel between each other,
but taking appropriate action was blocked from up high.

For instance:

FBI AGENT ROBERT WRIGHT SAYS FBI AGENTS ASSIGNED TO INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS CONTINUE TO PROTECT TERRORISTS FROM CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS AND PROSECUTIONS

<more>

---

It looks like not so much "the government" or "the intel agencies" failed us, but rather certain individuals within those institutions failed us - deliberately.

4. War is very profitable, afterall.
You can't have war if there is no justification for it...like another Pearl Harbor.

5. You are referring to Project Bojinka
which was a plot to blow up airplanes over the Pacific that came out during the WTC 1993 bombing trials. That's why it is so ludicrous for Condi Rice to claim that no one ever imagined that hijackers would turn passenger jets into missiles and fly them into buildings. This woman was the National Security Adviser at the time and she claims she didn't know about this plot, yet CNN had published reports about it as early as 1996.

In regards to the London plot, so far it's turning out to be a whole lot of nothing and has little to do with the original Project Bojinka except that al Qaeda wannabes and investigators have very limited imaginations.
