FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- A string of beatings of three homeless men in Fort Lauderdale in a single night last week has cast a spotlight on a brand of crime activists say has practically become sport among young people around the country.

Police say the attacks were carried out by a group of teenagers who piled into a car with baseball bats, a golf club and a paintball gun and went looking for homeless people to beat up.

"I wish I could say this was shocking and appalling, but it's not. We see it all the time," said Laura Hansen, executive director of the Broward Coalition for the Homeless. She said she sees the bruises, black eyes and broken teeth suffered by homeless victims on a daily basis.

From Florida to Alaska, dozens of homeless people are attacked each year, most often by white men under 20, according to the Washington-based National Coalition for the Homeless. Baseball bats are a favored weapon, as well as rocks, bricks, fists and feet, pellet guns and knives.

Why not use that tendency,in a positive way, create a rough defense group to defend the homeless? A loose coalition of young people who would be fighting anyways,encourage them to use their fists with a sense of ethics..

There will always be some rowdy people in every town..So why not let the young rowdies get together? The ones who do not want to see homeless people beat up by well off white thugs? Let these rowdies go catch and beat the living shit out of these homeless hating thugs,and defend the homeless when they see asshole thugs attack..

Sorta like how the Sharps did it to the racist skins..If a Sharp saw a racist cornering or threatening a black person on a street the sharps would go and knock the living shit out of the racist sociopath asshole. This made it clear racists were not desired in a particular area.Talk about being assertive about wanting a culture to improve..Kick sociopath thug assholes in the dirt for doing cruel shit to vulnerable people.Make it too painful for these fucking sociopath bully thugs to derive any "fun" out of hurting homeless people or anyone else who's not being a bully and who is vulnerable.Beat the bullies down until their sick games of harming people for kicks loses it's "appeal" and becomes to"costly" for them to do it.A sociopath has no ability for empathy they do not have emotions,or a conscience. Everything to them is win or lose.

Make the bullies suffer,when they lash out at some vulnerable person . Eventually it will dawn on the bully it is dangerous to start shit with vulnerable people because they have "friends" and defenders.Eventually the bullies will not try to get away with abuse,because it will be too costly for them to even try playing it.They will LEAVE the Area.
