Poll question: What kind of campaign are you working on?
If you're too busy to volunteer, you can treat it as a rhetorical question, ie, "What kind of campaign would you prefer to be working on?", though I added slots for too busy and too broke as well.

Labor Day's coming up and I still can't decide to sign on with the no chance guy for the opportunity to educate as many reachable (read: still somewhat sane) Republicans as possible or go with the guy who has at least a remote chance of winning. Unfortunately, even with the Rs looking to be on the ropes, this is the best coin flip you get at the moment in South Carolina.

1. I'm working on a combined campaign for Rendell/Casey
Rendell is in good shape, but Casey's lead isn't comfortable. He needs money, BTW, so if you haven't already max'd out your donations and want to see Santorum defeated, please consider lending a hand.

2. Excellent. I should have put on something about working on more than one
campaign. That's probably going to be my approach, too.

Used to live in Phila. for years. Hope the T (Republican PA, not Philly or Pittsburgh) doesn't get you. Best of luck!

3. Thank you.
I'm thrilled that both candidates decided to do this. I can fulfill my obligation to both races at one time, and not have to choose which campaign to support. It saves money and volunteer time and it reenforces Ed's support of Casey.
Win, win, win.
:-)

4. PA (or Philly anyway) Democrats did something similar in '80
Working for Jimmy Carter, we also handed out material for Flaherty, Foglietta, and I don't know who all else. Sadly, the Foglietta race is still the only successful one I've ever been associated with, and since he was running as a (wink, wink) Independent (Thank you Ozzie Myers), in the strictest sense I've never worked on a winning Democratic campaign. Philly Democrats (the rank and file, not the party per se) wouldn't get behind Flaherty against Philly boy Arlen Spector and we're still reaping the whirlwind for that little mistake. Again, hope things turn out better for you.
