Protests In Kennebunkport: “Bush Is Fiddling While The World Burns”...

President Bush came to his parent's century-old summer home on the Maine coast for a little relaxation and some family time this weekend. He did get that, along with a reminder that his
Iraq policy is unpopular with some people.

Several hundred anti-war demonstrators gathered Saturday to march on the road toward Walker's Point. The stone-and-shingle compound on a craggy promontory is owned by former President Bush and his wife, Barbara, and named after his mother's family.

8. Your post pretty much tells the whole story.
Shame, ain't it?

Once upon a time, Presidents did the urging on the world scene...and celebrity vacations made headlines.

7. Can't we muster up some more Rs for this post as the MSM
is ignoring the story?

These protestors have gone to the trouble to organize and spend an otherwise beautiful day of their lives showing the *cos that we are not at all content with their leadership.

as the violin hadn't been invented yet...

He played the lyre.

Yeah, I guess that 60% of Americans count as "some people".

I assume that since it's huff post, that comment was meant sarcastically.
