So. Most people are more concerned with not being blown up by a terrorist bomb than asking themselves what can they do to help that family pushing the shopping cart down the street filled with god knows what?

Ok.

So. There are women and their children, and veterans, and various others living in the streets and only getting one meal per day and maybe a cot to sleep on?

Ok.

So. There are elderly people dying from lack of air. Dying from lack of health care. Dying.

Ok.

So. Let's start a war. That'll solve everything!

I still dream of peace, and of a time when hatred, fear and anger are looked at as aberrations of emotion.
