2. Didn't like Opera?

Consistently the lowest vulnerability browser out there. Watch out for 207.net...

It's the only sexy scandanavian import that fits within my budget!

3. I've tried Opera and Firefox both
and didn't like either. everyone tells me that firefox doesn't have any security issues but I noticed that they have to issue updates to deal with them from time to time same as IE. Plus IE is much faster and smoother than either in streaming video. imo. I have been using Maxthon of late and liked it real well but I am switching to IE 7 as it is to me the next best thing to come down the tubes.

4. Got to run what you like.
That's for sure. I'm not using your computer! The biggest issue I have with IE other than the security is resource consumption. Opera running with five tabs open and streaming audio is using 433 KB of ram, counting everything else I'm running. It's very light on resource consumption. I finally get a machine with lots of resources and nothing uses any of them!

5. I tried it and dropped it when I got more trojans and spyware than
I have ever had before... It would self launch pop-ups when it wasn't even running.

I went back to Firefox.

Beware! IE7 struck me as an open door for Malware!

7. I tried it with the Windows Vista....
It royally f'd up my machine. I'm running XP Home on this machine (SP2) with 1.5 gigs...

I don't cruise porno or gambling sites, mostly news and DU but it took several hours to undo the damages done. Maybe I was just unlucky.

8. I didn't try vista but did try ie7 beta 2 and 3
and had issues with both, and I still have issue with this pre-release version but I see it as an improvement. I du and the news with an occasional ebay foray thrown in for good measure. don't gamble and Whats Porno? somehow my baptist upbring didn't include either.
