Gas prices come November?
As I imagined they would, gas prices are down 15 cents a gallon from three weeks ago, and here's why. The bastard oil companies know they won't be able to get away with the shit they have been getting away with when we take over. No more testifying without taking an oath, no more partisan, bullshit investigations into gouging. When we take over the House, exxonmobil and their bastard siblings will have some real explaining to do.

And they know it.

And I'm encouraged by what they're doing by lowering the price of gasoline. They know they need the repuglican majority to keep on keeping on, so they'll gouge a bit less now so they can gouge a whole lot more when they help the repricklicans keep their majority.

Or so they think...

There is no way they're going to lower prices when a major pipeline shit the bed and they're handed a great excuse to fuck us on a silver platter, unless it's in their best interests...

Which implies..

That their senate and congresional butt-buddies may be out of work come November.

My guess? Come November gas will be around $2.50 a gallon, or maybe a bit less. Election day comes and goes, no matter what, gas goes up bigtime once again.

Remember, you heard it here first.

2. It will get to 10/gal. or more if the PNAC decides to bomb Iran...
And that is the only reason why the sociopathetic 'decider' will wait after the selections.

Millions won't afford heating next winter.
No concern for lil' king george.
No concern at all.

3. This country moves everything on oil.
$10 gas will cause the price of everything to go up. Your food. Your toilet paper, the water coming out of the spigots in the kitchen & bathroom.
Be careful what you wish for. There are better ways.

4. There's a projected hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico right now......
if Ernesto turns into a bad-ass hurricane the price of crude will rise to over $80 a barrel overnight. If there is any more destruction of the Gulf oil fields we'll be paying $2.50 a HALF gallon. I can visualize Republicans all over the U.S. dropping to their knees right now PRAYING that Ernesto fades away.
They'll try their damnedest to bring the price down before elections but perhaps an "act of god" will seal the GOP's fate. Now wouldn't THAT be ironic?

6. If it gets to the ~70 cents/gl (33 cents/liter) that it is in Beijing,
the repubs would win in a huge landslide, I should think...

But that won't happen.

Oh, keep the sexual euphemisms out of this discussion, please.
