Poll question: Gulf Coast Poll: If I knew Ernesto was coming I'd...
What would you do if you had a ONE WEEK NOTICE that a hurricane was coming and you lived in a low-lying area of the Gulf Coast?

I know it's coming. I have ample warning. I have the benefit of hindsight. I don't want to experience the same thing the good folks of New Orleans did.

...because a legitimate answer depends on the strength of the storm. We're at 15 feet above sea level and we've stayed for Cat 1 and Cat 2 storms, but we'll definitely scram when a Cat 3 is coming this way.

when I was doing relief work all along the Gulf Coast, yea, by any means possible I'd be gone from the point of impact.
