Pizza Hut. It was founded by a company in KS and a friend of a good friend of mine grew up with the guys who started Pizza Hut. Anyway, she says they were liberal hippies in the 60s and 70s and then got a little money and became repukes in the 80s. Too many of those assholes in my age group. damn!

I do believe they sold the company and no longer are the owners. I haven't paid much attention, since I gave up Pizza Hut as soon as I heard this story at least 15 years ago. Plus their pizza sucks anyway.

And only a small plethora of companies dedicated to one product.

I have just heard about Mr. Glenn Beck's show on August 24th wherein he commented that he found braille signs on public offices to be offensive and that he would like to put "OW!" in braille on a hot coffee pot.

I have read for the blind since I was in college. That's 38 years worth of bringing printed media to people who, through *no* fault of their own, have lost the ability to do the one thing that everyone else can do -- read.

For Mr. Beck to decide that helping these members of our society remain on an equal footing with those of us who can still read is somehow a colossal error and that the blind should be abused and neglected, even injured, for his own amusement is .. well, you guys write for a living, you pick something appropriate.

Just know that CNN is going to be much less on my schedule in the future unless you at CNN realize that promoting abuse and neglect of the helpless is not exactly the trait of an organization whose ostensible role is communication of accurate and important information.
