9. Has Tweety Ever Had All MSNBC Right-Wing Pundits As Guests?
What in the hell was that all about? Did he need some love from the right to do his show today, after his disgusting remarks yesterday? Spineless prick - I'll never turn on his show again.

13. You guys are missing the point.
The reason Tweety had the Three Stooges on his show today is because Rick Kaplan at MSNBC has taken their shows off the air on Friday nights to replace them with prison documentaries he thinks will get higher ratings. Putting them on Tweety's show is his way of throwing them a bone in return for dumping their shows one night a week.

Unfortunately, putting them all on one panel at the same time to "comment" on current events is enough to make anyone ill.

14. Nope, BerryBush I figured that out
and told hubby - who was very confused about the appearance of the three stooges - that the Friday night line-up had changed but apparently the boss was still making them come in on Fridays. I thought it was pretty obvious and didn't think it needed pointing out on DU.

16. Ah, you understood it, but I don't think it's generally known on DU.
I see a lot of people on DU screaming disbelief that Tweety lined up three RW toadies to comment on the events of the past week without the single even slightly NON-RW voice that even airs on MSNBC--Keith's--to counteract them. Then I saw the guessing spread: that Keith was deliberately left off the panel because his views were not pleasing, that he didn't want to be seen with them, etc.

So, I thought I'd explain for those who didn't know what was going on: This is Rick Kaplan's booby prize to the people whose shows he has temporarily dumped on Friday nights. The fact that they all happen to be RW is more a testament to the general imbalance of talent on MSNBC than anything else.

I'm just glad he let Keith stay on on Fridays. Sheesh.

17. You're right, others don't know
At http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=199723&mesg_id=199723 there is a question about Joe and Tucker. I supplied the answer at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=199723&mesg_id=199882 with two articles about what happened and (according to Kaplan) the why.

:hi:

12. He's not particularly known for balance.
Tweety's "balance" is having, say, someone from the Wall Street Journal and a former White House staffer from a Republican administration.

Then there's his asinine proclamations, such as the comment that "Women really like this war." He also proclaimed that everyone found George W. Bush likeable, except for left-wing nuts, or words to that effect.

I detest Tweety.

15. LOL
That's an understatement. I've never thought Tweety was mentally balanced and his show has always skewered to the right.
