Putting it all in perspective
If you were to believe the 'liberal' media, you would think that Liberals and Progressives were powerless, that we can't do anything.

But that is not so, we are like the Revolutionaries of the past, we are smaller than them, we don't have as many millionaires/billionaires on our side, we're not as networked as they are, so we are the underdogs, and we:

Stopped the Bigoted and Elitist Agenda of the Far Right - See a Federal Marriage Amendment? Has the Estate Tax been repealed? No and No.

Sent the Far Right from being in power to being 'persecuted' - I remember after the 2004 election how several RW'ers were talking of a Right Wing Revolution, the 'christian' Right expected to see their Socially Conservative Agenda get passed. And it did not happen. So 2 years later, the 'christian' Right whined and cried saying that they were being persecuted by the Left (even though they did not say that 2 years ago!).

Outnumber the Republicans in State Legislatures.

Are going to retake something in the Federal government this year (It could be the House, it could be the Senate, or it could be both).

Liberals are powerless?

Well, we're not as rich, we're not as organized as they are, and we still beat their agenda.
