Hmm.. So now Brit Hume's becoming the "conspiracy theorist", trying to put together circumstantial evidence to claim that Colin Powell was the guilty party in leaking Valerie Plame's name. These idiots really never give up do they! Now all of a sudden a rash of wingnuts think that Powell is the guilty party with these "rumor facts".

Coincidental Conversation?

Official calendars for Richard Armitage, obtained by the AP, show the former deputy secretary of state held a private meeting with reporter Bob Woodward on June 13, 2003 — the same time Woodward has said an administration official talked to him about CIA employee Valerie Plame. Neither Woodward or Armitage would comment on the meeting.

The investigation into who leaked Plame's identity was triggered by columnist Robert Novak's revelation that Plame was a CIA operative. Novak said only that his source was a senior administration official.

It is also known that Novak met at the time not only with Armitage, but also with Secretary of State Colin Powell.

He was presenting information to people who had the same level of security clearance that he did. It is what other members of the WHIG team did with that information is the problem. How involved was he in the discussion aboard AF1 and the decision to out a CIA operative is what is unknown.

20. Well it is good the story is staying alive. The Administration leaked her

name and job. Whether it was the Secretary of State or the Vice President it really doesn't matter. It was WHIG and they were all in the loop. The Bush* Administration is Responsible...Period.

An innocent and properly serving administration official, if finding such a breach would have tried to take steps with other administration officials to contain it, and then one could have claimed this was a "random accident" as they are trying to portray this as. But we have seen NO evidence on any of these f'ers part to contain this problem. Only different people pointing fingers at each other or trying to poke holes at the validity of evidence that has been found already against them. That's a sign of a guilty parts of a big conspiracy. Some day, hopefully soon, these guys will all hang for this (ok maybe not literally, but at least will get the book thrown at them)!
