This one is DUH! American Legion Survey VA underfunded
Survey:Veterans Affairs Need more Money; no crap

Problems indentified in a American Legion survey of Veterans Affairs centers three years ago were caused by lack of money and most recent survey shows little has changed ; accourding to a EL Paso resident who was on the national panel that administered the survey.

Insufficient staffing leads to long waiting list for clinics, pharmacies and specialty care, said retired Lt. Col. John McKinny from El Paso ,who surveyed 26 VA medicail care facilties for 2006 report. The report , due to be published this month,is provided to VA officails and to every member of Congress

duh but they will still invite Dubba. As a vet I just don't get that

2. And guess who cut veterans' funding to give consecutive wartime tax cuts..
...to the richest minority of Americans? "Support our troops" my ass. Any vet who votes republican today either took a blow to the head or needs one.

4. Quite Honestly
This is why I am opposed to Universal Health Care.

Ifr you want ot see what happens when the government is in charge of health care, look to the VA, or ask some Indians without casinos how they are doing!

That scares me to death.

5. I'm shocked!
Latest in the Va Pain Management saga. remember the May 28th referral to Pain Management? But then they closed the Temple VAMC Pain Management Clinic a month later/ NOw the Dallas Clinic canceled my appointment without explanation and I only found out because another VA Doctor I was seeing today checked on it because I was looking so pathetic. NOw they are trying to reschedule it again. In the meantime I am sure that I am developing a serious narcotic habit. Hope I don't end up in a cell next to Limbaugh!
