...and now that their asses are in a sling they (R's silly) NEED something to pull their 'smores out of the fire before they burn.

Maybe a real Iraq redeployment a la Murtha, renamed something else, of course.

R's and Rove will have SOME kind of good news to gloat over prior to election day in order to avoid disaster.

A war with Iran would lead to a massacre of our troops in Iraq. They're so scattered over the country that an organized, well trained army invading from Iran is liable to overwhelm them before they can regroup.
