Were The Conyers Hearings A Bust Today?

I didn't have the chance to see them at work. I couldn't wait till I got home to see the big threads on page 1 so I could read up quickly on what went down. I'm quite disappointed to say that after some scouring, I FINALLY found the thread on page 4. PAGE4????? Hearings as important as this are on PAGE4?

Either it was really a bust and not much to talk about, or it was every single goddamn bit as important as it should've been and people just fell asleep on the link instead of kicking it. :)

I'm gonna go read it now (and give it a kick) and hope it's every bit as important as I was anticipating it to be. (Course, it's Conyers, so it would seem incredibly likely)

Obviously, I did do my own research, since the damn link is included in this thread. That makes the above statement more than a bit absurd in my opinion.

Furthermore, the not-so-hidden message in this thread was that threads on hearings as important as this shouldn't be looming on page 4 only a few hours later, and I was shocked they weren't kicked.

I don't know if Amin put it on DU Front Page but it belongs there. The hearings were fascinating with Jonathan Turley who is the "legal Analyst for one of the Cables calling for his Impeachment because he BROKE THE LAW. This from a Georgetown Law Professor.

It was great.

Great stuff. Everyone had good things to say especially Johnathan Turley of George Washington Law who said * had repeatedly committed crimes and a woman named Kate Martin from an agency called something the Center for National Security. Great stuff. Also, Rep. Jerry Nadlor drew a clear parallel between * and Hitler removing civil rights.
