Our Voting "System": What are you doing about it? Time to PREACH.
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 05:41 PM by Copperred
I want to remind everyone, there is only one (1) single issue that is of any great import at this time. It is demanding of our leaders to fix with transparency our broken national and state voting system.

That there needs to be full clear national federal election standards, and that each state cannnot have its own idea, whim, process, etc.

It is fundamentally critical to this countyr that the voting system be fixed within the next 2 years. It is OUR JOB to force this issue to the top of the political agenda. It is not a difficult one to do. WHO COULD POSSIBLY WIN CAMPAIGNING AGAINST FAIR AND HONEST VOTING?

It is up to us to once again bring this topic back to the public discussion. To force Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Wesley Clark, and all the other to make this A BIG PART OF THEIR PLATFORM. That they will bring FREE AND FAIR elections to the United States. That they will work to pass MAJOR ELECTION REFORM STANDARDS THAT ARE SIMPLE, PRECISE, AND CLEAR.

PLEASE start talking about this topic again at your schools, places of worship, bars, parties, etc.....LETS GET THIS TOPIC TALKING.

This is THE ISSUE that will bring 25 years of democratic rule to the country if gotten right. PLEASE START TALKING, START SCREAMING, AND FORCING THE DEMOCRATICS TO MAKE THIS AN ISSUE the REPUBLICANS SIMPLY CANNOT FIGHT AGAINST.

Your family's future.........depends on it.

1. The Dem's were also S-elected with these machines, why would they
fight, with us to get rid of the machines, This fight is between US the politicians D AND R.

The Dem's little one liners every now and again about the machines is pure and utter b*llsh*t.

2. if you don't talk about it at work, at church, in the public.......

and to the Democratic leadership's faces......

KSTER.....it's our fault - not theirs. Bobby Kennedy has spoken out...others will too if the popular support is there. It is truly a huge vote getter too for national democratic candidates.

This is not some emotional trigger issue. It's simple....we need clear national election standards to be implemented from the CONGRESS down.....so your vote counts. Simple message that resonates......

I have total faith that John Edwards wishes the votes had been correctly counted in '04 and would work to make sure that such comes into being.

Please everyone...get out of ur stumper.....and start talking about the need for voting election standards...and pushing it on the Democratic leaders....
