"Country Singer Charged With DUI Reaches Plea"

Country singer John Michael Montgomery wants to put his recent run-in with the law behind him. On Wednesday he reached a plea deal on a drunken driving charge in Kentucky.

Montgomery's lawyer said his client wanted a trial but was concerned about the publicity it would attract. Montgomery will pay $660 in fines and court costs.
