Tom Cruise has been in some good movies - and effective in some of them - but he's hard for me to formulate a solid opinion on.

the one thing in it I find relevant and compare how I now feel about,oh say, Ah-nold's movies is how a person's behavior in real life affects how I feel about them now on screen-I have a hard time now even with Terminator and Predator which I used to really enjoy

I mean i love Bruce Willis as an actor and he's clearly got some crap political views - with Tom Cruise there's an essential steeliness to him - it always feels like a mask he's wearing - like he never lets you forget how hard he's acting.
