Good "Oprah" episode today on socioeconomic class in the U.S.

I do see the irony of one of the richest women in the world discussing economic inequality. However this subject is rarely even mentioned at all in the mainstream media, so for Oprah to do a whole hour on it is a blessing of sorts. She interviews Jamie Johnson, of the Johnson & Johnson soap family, who made a documentary about inequality called "The One Percent." She also interviews a granddaughter of Warren Buffett, who apparently isn't going to get any of Buffett's billions. I saw this program when it was first broadcast several months back and I recommend it highly.

I did miss this one the first go around. I am most interested in what Buffet's granddaughter has to say; if it's true she isn't going to get anything from Buffett, then I just find that kind of sad. Why in the world wouldn't you want to give those closest to you maybe just enough to buy a car or a house. I haven't really read Buffett's reasoning on his family, but with as much as he has, he could give to them and to charity both.
