Slobbering mad dogs backed into a corner...
A sense of desperation is slowly creeping over much of the Republican Party. Their old tricks of name-calling and slander don't seem to be working. They are being overwhelmed by reality. Their support of the Bush White House and its disatrous policies are going to have consequences. There is a price to pay and the voters appear ready to take charge. Incumbents are in trouble and Republican incumbents especially have bullseyes on their backs. But what do mad dogs do when they get backed into the corners? Be aware.

1. Which is exactly why we need to be prepared for what they will do with the
elections. They haven't played fair in the pst so you can count on them stealing it again!

2. Hmmm Mad Dogs in a Corner. Is that anything like Rats on a sinking ship?
I think though that they won't really wake up to it until after the election if they lose - then they will know that their beliefs really are on the downhill slope.

Ironically if Democrats win one or both of the houses this fall it might make things more dangerous in the short term.

I still think we should though.

The Repugs would do well to remember that, along with Newton's Third Law of Motion: every action has an equal but opposite reaction.

edited to get the law right, doh

7. Ah, as I suspected, you're being metaphorical.
And "Slobbering Mad Dogs Backed into a Corner" isn't Samuel L Jackson's next movie.

8. Yep, this is going to be a grim, joyless task
But absolutely necessary if we're going to take our country back from the bloodthirsty thugs who have highjacked it for their personal enrichment.

They're going to make the job as hard and as unpleasant as possible. They'll fight, bite, claw and scratch, and when that doesn't work, they'll shit and piss themselves and cry like little babies to make the whole process as distasteful as possible. Just remember that we can clean up after the job is done.
